What is Truelog?

A scalable platform providing a cost effective recording solution at any capacity

Designed in South Africa, the Truelog voice recording platform was launched in 2004 and has a dedicated team of developers available for rapid integration to customer requirements.

It provides a dependable and versatile solution for the storage and retrieval of telephonic interactions with customers, across all sectors of commerce, industry and the services sectors.

Truelog is used in diverse customer environments, ranging from large call centres to small enterprises, and on many different PABX platforms.

Why Truelog?

Accommodates any type and combination of ports, from trunk side (Legacy and VOIP), to proprietary digital extensions, to IP extensions, to Radio channels.

From the outset of development, the design objectives were to produce a best-of-breed system aimed at the high end of the market, but the "faster-smaller-cheaper" dynamics of the computer industry, together with the use of advanced modular USB interfaces, make the Truelog systems highly competitive across the board.

From the largest enterprise with 30 or more primary rate ISDN lines, to the smallest installation with 4 analogue lines or less, Truelog provides an ideal solution.

Systems can be tailored to any possible PABX or call-centre environment, providing accurate and tamper-proof management of recorded calls for the most demanding applications.

This premium product is continuously being enhanced, and our philosophy of listening to our customers ensures that functionality will continue to be enhanced well into the future.

The Truelog platform uses an Intel architecture in combination with proprietary interface hardware. The field-proven interfaces make use of USB (Universal Serial Bus) connectivity to the server, providing a number of advantages over the traditional PCI technology usually found in similar professional systems. These advantages include a 'hot-swap' capability which allows maintenance, expansion and reconfiguration to be performed without the need to switch off or restart a system, thus avoiding unnecessary downtime.

Any combination of analogue ports (Trunk/Extension/Two-way-Radio) and digital ISDN ports (Basic Rate/Primary Rate), together with digital and IP PABX extensions and VOIP channels, can be seamlessly implemented in a server.

Servers are rated in accordance with the number of concurrent recording channels required (up to 480 channels per server) and above this, multiple-server systems can be configured for any number of recording channels.

Calls are stored in a compact encrypted MP3 format, with storage capacities ranging from an entry level of 20,000 hours to over 300,000 hours on-line. When it comes to call identification and retrieval, the Truelog system is in a class of its own, with unequalled simplicity, speed and ease of use.

Multi-site systems with centralized management and distributed / centralized storage are easily configured. Backup options include 250GB removable HDD cartridges, external USB hard disk drives and SATA/SCSI removable HDD.

Truelog systems are always supplied with redundant hard disk arrays, and fully redundant systems are available for mission-critical applications.

SMDR/CDR and CTI integration is available for most PABX systems, and integration is available to customer databases & CRM systems.
